When snow is a threat two days before the official winter season commits, then we know it is that Magical Time of the Year! I do remember snow a couple years ago for Thanksgiving and a deep snow for Christmas. Of course, I am speaking of the Pacific Northwest where our wet gray days turn to a sunny wonderland – especially nice without the black ice. Yes, snow is in the forecast but hopefully will be done and over for all the holiday traffic.
2014 is just around the corner and where does all the time go? Is that a sign of age? Remember when Wednesday was hump day? Well, now for me, it’s “It can’t be Wednesday. Oh no, the week’s already half over!”
Don’t forget I am offering Art Workshops at the Mary E. Theler Center in Belfair, Washington. I am offering two workshops a month and have scheduled dates through December 2014. If you are coming from out of town, there is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast recommended on my website, so you will have a charming place to stay. You can find all the details on my website under Workshops: www.beverlyhooks.com/workshop. If you have any questions, just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org I hope to see you there for a fun day of painting and camaraderie.
If a workshop is not your forte, I do teach private lessons and will work with your time frame when possible.
Here’s wishing you all a Happy New Year! Hope your year is full of fun and exciting opportunities.
Cheers – Have a Safe and Blessed Christmas!!
