Springtime in Lytham

Sing sweetly, dance lightly as spring is finally here.
Winter’s chill departed without an ounce of fear.
Morning anxiously breaks claiming the timid day.
No arguing as spring has had its gentle say.
Walk the village as plentiful shops invite with utterance unspoken.
Picnic on the green though drape the shawl as spring is still a token.
